HELP CENTRE

As the word suggests this is any website or page that adapts automatically to a change and adjust at different display sizes. So whether you are looking at the website using a mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop device, the site maintains a good look although it may be different on each.
Responsive websites allow for people to make contact simply by clicking the phone number or email address on their device and allowing it to dial automatically the number or open up a new email. This cuts down on wasting time having to note down a phone number, you simply click and call. Responsive websites have other benefits but this is the main one for users.
There are many huge benefits to using HTML5 over older code, a few basic ones are that is it a cleaner code, has smarter local storage and provides better interactions and thus user experience. The main why it is a must for many developers building modern websites is that HTML5 is the most mobile ready tool for developing sites and apps. It is the new mobile Flash which Adobe have announced is dead, so its all over to HTML5! It is future proofing your business that counts and HTML5 is, for many, the future for mobile adaptive sites and apps with it’s Video and Audio support .

CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheet 3) is a style language that helps formatting for websites, such as Font, Layout, Colours etc. Unlike HTML, CSS is all about design and style rather than the content. The main benefit of CSS3 is that you can make changes without rewriting code on every page so updating websites is easy. CSS3 simplifies design, it is a powerful web language that is both logical and user friendly.

Combining HTML5 and CSS3 provides advantages for business who want to deploy web content and apps within quality design that is adaptable across all devices, operating systems and browsers. The business is future proofed, its logical data structures work very well with the Search Engines who know that the foundations of a website are not semantically accurate. The on-going cost advantages will save business time and money and thus a smart way to build future web assets.
This depends on what the website purpose is. If you want to attract new people to the site to either generate enquiries or sales from then you need to ensure that your using a good mobile adaptive platform for your business. A refresh means a new look and feel on the current platform, a new website means a new look and feel on a new or updated platform. If your current website is over two years old then it's likely it won't be adaptive or responsive. Even if it is it may need modernising. In the end it depends on how you value your website, is it a business asset or cost.
Websites like everything else are built in stages.

First stage should be the build plan where you identify and clarify your website focus, its target audience and the owners wishes, goals and experience.

Once you know how your target audience engages with your products or services then you can move to the next phase, design.

Many business owners have little idea what they want, but they sure know what they don’t want so we find it's best to start here. Once you have a good idea then designers will map out these on documents. Tweaks and changes are much easier when you have things to look at and once concluded you can enter then the next phase, development.

Development phase is key as it when a developer creates the website from the designs. We use a secure test server so that we can develop the website to completion for our clients.

Once happy the website can be pushed on the live web and then the work really starts!
